About Me
Hello, my name is Jocelyn Reese. I am a Graphic Designer born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. My Graphic Design journey started in high school with my love for art and design. I’ve always been passionate about design because I like to be hands-on with many projects. I started developing my skills at the Hinds Community College Raymond Campus, majoring in Graphic Design Technology. I acquired many art and design skills for 2 school years, graduated, and transferred to The University of Southern Mississippi, for which, I continued building my skills as a Graphic Designer in their amazing graphic design program. I became a well-rounded designer in web design, logo design, photography, packaging design, and many more. Even when people try to keep me in a box, I will always think outside the box when it comes to the world of graphic design.

Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
I am proficient in using a wide range of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, XD, Animate, After Effects, Premiere, among others.
Project Mangement
I know how to manage projects to make sure they are completed on time. I also know how to make sure each project gets the right amount hours to work on them for presentations or discussions.
Visual Communication
I am skilled in visually communicating a client’s vision, translating their ideas and goals into cohesive and impactful design solutions that reflect their company or organization.
Collaborative
I can work effeciently and effectly with other members of design team. I know how to collaborate with other forms of designers such as web developers, UI/UX designers, etc.

I am committed to producing high-quality, visually engaging designs that meet the unique needs and goals of each client. With a strong understanding of brand storytelling and market trends, I create designs that not only look exceptional but also deliver strategic impact. Additionally, I specialize in developing innovative packaging solutions across a wide range of formats.

I carefully select a range of typefaces tailored to the needs of each design, considering factors like tone, readability, and brand identity to create cohesive visual communication. When discussing and choosing type, I approach it professionally by explaining how each option supports the design’s purpose, audience, and overall aesthetic. When choosing typefaces, I want to client feel like it belongs.
