I’m Jocelyn D. Reese

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember—what started as a love for art quickly turned into a drive to design with purpose. I’m a graphic designer from Jackson, Mississippi, bringing a fresh perspective rooted in creativity, culture, and curiosity.

My journey began at Hinds Community College, where I built my foundation in design and sharpened my skills in the Adobe Creative Suite while earning my Associate of Applied Science. Ready to push further, I continued at The University of Southern Mississippi, where I stepped into real-world design—working with clients, solving creative challenges, and turning ideas into impactful visuals. That experience shaped not just my skillset, but my voice, leading me to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Now, I design with intention and confidence—creating work that stands out, tells a story, and leaves a lasting impression.

Every project starts with pen and paper — or Figma. I sketch wireframes, map user flows, and refine high‑fidelity designs until every pixel serves usability. Once the design is locked, I translate the system into semantic HTML/CSS and bring it to life with React or Vue.
